Another overview on a Dyno from Aaron @ English Racing **Video**
We have a new video from team member Tony’s trip to English Racing.
From Tony;
“So here is my video of my Evo’s visit to English Racing, I decided to up the ante a bit on my engine mod by going with a used, low mile FP Black Journal Bearing Turbo, FIC 950cc injectors and a SD intake and tune, I want to thank Myles for helping me get all the parts and setting up a date that works best for me. Since I didn’t have that much time on my hands, I had the pros install the turbo, I want to thanks TJ for putting together the kit and doing a couple of things in the engine bay to help the car work.
When we got on the dyno, Aaron worked his magic tuning the engine off of pump and meth injection. The results exceeded my expectations even though we had problems with boost creep (this will be explained in the video). In the interview, I wanted Aaron to explain more about meth injection and what advantages and disadvantages it had on the motor itself, as well as what meth additives are best used in that function. I want to thank Aaron for the great tune, the great insight on the tune, and always putting up with my interviews.
Thank you Team English for your great support!”

TEAMInnovationsNW x BOSS Innovations

I catch up with David from BOSS Innovations our most recent sponsor. Check out our interview below:
Please tell me a little bit about Boss Innovations?
Our goal is to create a place where car-lovers can come and enjoy the one thing that brings them together, the enthusiasm for cars. BOSS is your shop where you can explore ownership and the pleasure of customizing your vehicle. We can help make the dream of your car a reality by improving its performance and/or appearance.
Our mission is to promote the idea that a car is more than just a means of transportation; it is a means of expressing one’s self, based on individuality and lifestyle. We believe in innovation and pushing the borders of what’s possible, finding ways to make dreams a reality. Most of all, we believe in customer satisfaction. We want your experience to be a pleasurable one, which can be shared by people from various backgrounds.
How did your involvement with Boss Innovations come into play?
I originally became involved in the scene back in 1995, and sold used DSM parts on a very young internet, via a site called Eclipse Club. I was the tech and parts vendor for the site, and also a member of NWDSM. I had a car club named Team Sai Soku that was avid in the early scene. Eventually I transitioned the team name into Sai Soku Motorsports. I worked a full time job, and offered it my company part time from my oversized garage selling parts and doing engine/service work. I decided to change over the name to BOSS Innovations in 2004 and moved it into the full blown deal
that you see today.
What makes Boss different from other automotive Shops?
I’d say that we are unique in the variety of services that we offer, and the makes of cars that we work with. We have been known to specialize in Mitsubishi, but we do work on any make, from any year. From a 66 Mustang to a MKIV Supra. We can do your light repair/maintenance to full engine build, while also being able to offer custom interior-upholstery work to exterior paint jobs. BOSS really is about working personally with our customers to achieve their sought after goals. We take pride in being able
to build a car from the inside-out.
What companies do you partner with?
Like many other shops, we carry a full line of companies thru our various vendors. Examples are Competition Clutch, GSC, Forced Performance, ETS and much-much more.
What other services do you provide?
BOSS offers all automotive services, including but not limited to: general repair and maintenance, engine builds and swaps, tuning, fabrication, upholstery and paint. We work on any make and model; whatever you have, bring it in and let’s make something happen!

English Racing x TEAMInnovationsNW
We are proud to announce our newest sponsorship with English Racing!!!
“English Racing is a special place in the Mitsubishi world. To find a shop that is truly an expert in building motors to take 1000+ hp, building transmissions, tuning, fab work, and getting this all under one roof is rare. The Team started back in 2004 and has learned and compiled knowledge until now with no loss in team members. How many shops have 3 tuners, 3 Engine builders all under one roof that can all agree on doing things the same way. If there is debate in the shop, calculators, tape measures, engine simulators, or whatever else is needed to prove the point comes out and gets put to use. All our knowledge is based off experience and proven actions, not theories and opinions.” Englishracing.net
I caught up to Myles from English racing to get the low down on the shop.
How did your involvement with English Racing come into play?
I am a good customer turned Employee! I had my car tuned here back in 2008 when i first put a turbo kit on my integra haha.
Those were the days, stock GSR on 10psi making like 300whp lol. Didn’t really have to worry about anything breaking!
A little over a year ago Lucas called me up asking me if i wanted to work for him, explained what my job would be and what not. I had been at the same job for 4 years at that time and was about fed up with it, so i came to English Racing. Took me a while to learn the Evo motors and what not but i am happy to be here, June 6th was my 1 year anniversary!
What makes English Racing different from other Tuners?
We are a true specialist shop. We are Racers and know how and what makes a car work. We are ALL Friends, Lucas the owner knows how stuff goes. TJ has been here 8 years, Jake for 7, Jeff 5 and Aaron 4 and me 1 year but have known everyone here for a very long time.
We work as a Team.
What companies do you partner with?
We partner up with Extreme Turbo Systems, GSC Power-Division, Forced Performance turbochargers, R&R Rods, Fuel Injector Clinic, and we buy a lot of our engine parts from Real Street Performance.
What other services do you provide?
We are your one stop shop, we are known for Mitsubishi’s but we can work on Quads, Toyota’s, Honda’s, Subaru’s, Nissan, Dodge, Chevrolet, Ford and pretty much every car make out there. Hoping to break into the Porsche market here in the NW very soon.

Mitsubishiparts.net x TEAMInnovationsNW
We are excited to announce that Mitsubishiparts.net has become an official sponsor of TEAMInnovationsNW.
Check out our Interview below with Russell Moore from Mitsubishiparts.net.
How did your involvement with Mitsubishiparts.net come into play?
I moved to WA in February 2007 and started working here in June 2007. Our websites were existing sites when I was hired on here to take them over as my day to day duties. The sites generated a mere 3-4 orders a day between nissanparts.cc/mitsubishiparts.net. One of the sites people referred to on their orders was evolutionm.net. Shortly after I started I contacted EVOM who was ran by Boost Labs and they happily brought us on board and we became a sponsor. That was the best move we ever made in the internet parts world. The EVO community has always embraced us and we have tried to do the same. After a couple of years we really grew our business and have stayed highly ranked within the dealer network in the United States and from time to time we eclipse all the dealers country wide and come out on top as the top Mitsubishi Parts Dealer. I’d like to think we could easily be considered one of the top dealers in North America, but there are others just as good as us.
What makes MitsubishiParts.net different from other parts stores?
One thing that makes us different I think is that we cater to the EVO Community and no other model group. We provide parts for all Mitsubishi’s, but 90% of our business comes from EVO Owners. I’m sure we are by far the biggest EVO Parts Dealer in the country – by a long shot, but I couldn’t prove it. We are the only Dealership in the US that is authorized to carry non-us Market Mitsubishi Parts. We also carry aftermarket/performance parts as well. That is a nice twist for most customers.
What companies do you partner with?
Rally Armor
ETS
Stance
Radium Engineering
Planted Seat Bracket Technology
Those are the ones that will pertain to the Mitsubishi crowd. We have tons of other brands we offer that we access through distribution channels on the east and west coast.
Some of the popular brands we keep in stock are:
Gates
Hawk
ACL
Wiseco
Mishimoto
AEM
Apexi
ARP
Walbro
Aeromotive
Garrett
Energy Suspensions
Royal Purple
RedLine
Tein
OMP
Vibrant
Whiteline
Turbo Smart
Racequip
That is all I can think of – we can pretty much supply any manufacturers parts, but only stock the good quality stuff that we know is useful.
What other services do you provide?
We do everything from Oil Change Parts to full Race Car Safety Equipment. Basically the full range of automotive parts/gear needs for our customers. We are continually growing at a very fast pace – at least it seems fast to me because I can never stay caught up.
