“So here is my video of my Evo’s visit to English Racing, I decided to up the ante a bit on my engine mod by going with a used, low mile FP Black Journal Bearing Turbo, FIC 950cc injectors and a SD intake and tune, I want to thank Myles for helping me get all the parts and setting up a date that works best for me. Since I didn’t have that much time on my hands, I had the pros install the turbo, I want to thanks TJ for putting together the kit and doing a couple of things in the engine bay to help the car work.

When we got on the dyno, Aaron worked his magic tuning the engine off of pump and meth injection. The results exceeded my expectations even though we had problems with boost creep (this will be explained in the video). In the interview, I wanted Aaron to explain more about meth injection and what advantages and disadvantages it had on the motor itself, as well as what meth additives are best used in that function. I want to thank Aaron for the great tune, the great insight on the tune, and always putting up with my interviews.

What’s the plan?
We will be meeting at the Sunset Square Cost Cutter parking lot in Bellingham at 9:00am (address is posted above). A driver’s meeting is scheduled for 9:45 where we plan on going over our rules for the cruise up the mountain. This year, Poirier Arts will be taking photos of cars as they drive up the mountain at various points along the way. If you would like to purchase a high quality print of your car, visit Poirier-Arts.com after the Mt. Baker Import Run. ImportMeet.com will also have a dedicated photographer that will take pictures of individual cars as they leave the meet at the top. These will be posted in a special gallery after the event.

On August 25th 2012, ImportMeet.com and Top Food and Drug will be hosting an import car show and BBQ. All makes, models, and styles of import cars are welcome. The show will happen from 12pm – 4pm at the Auburn Top Food and Drug. This car show is FREE to the public and you are only required to pay if you want to reserve a spot in the show.

There will be a BBQ with bratwursts and hot buttered corn. NOS Energy Drink will be giving away FREE energy drinks. Bratwursts will be $3 each and hot buttered corn will be 2 for $3.

DJ Lil Shonn from Imperial Car Club will be the DJ for this show.

There are ~150 reserved spots available for car show participants. $10 will reserve a spot in the show for ImportMeet.com members. If you’re not a member on our site, the price is $12.50. How did your involvement with English Racing come into play?
I am a good customer turned Employee! I had my car tuned here back in 2008 when i first put a turbo kit on my integra haha.
Those were the days, stock GSR on 10psi making like 300whp lol. Didn’t really have to worry about anything breaking!
A little over a year ago Lucas called me up asking me if i wanted to work for him, explained what my job would be and what not. I had been at the same job for 4 years at that time and was about fed up with it, so i came to English Racing. Took me a while to learn the Evo motors and what not but i am happy to be here, June 6th was my 1 year anniversary!

What makes English Racing different from other Tuners?
We are a true specialist shop. We are Racers and know how and what makes a car work. We are ALL Friends, Lucas the owner knows how stuff goes. TJ has been here 8 years, Jake for 7, Jeff 5 and Aaron 4 and me 1 year but have known everyone here for a very long time.

We work as a Team.

How did your involvement with Mitsubishiparts.net come into play?

I moved to WA in February 2007 and started working here in June 2007. Our websites were existing sites when I was hired on here to take them over as my day to day duties. The sites generated a mere 3-4 orders a day between nissanparts.cc/mitsubishiparts.net. One of the sites people referred to on their orders was evolutionm.net. Shortly after I started I contacted EVOM who was ran by Boost Labs and they happily brought us on board and we became a sponsor. That was the best move we ever made in the internet parts world. The EVO community has always embraced us and we have tried to do the same. After a couple of years we really grew our business and have stayed highly ranked within the dealer network in the United States and from time to time we eclipse all the dealers country wide and come out on top as the top Mitsubishi Parts Dealer. I’d like to think we could easily be considered one of the top dealers in North America, but there are others just as good as us.

Last summer, PGP Motorsports Park was one of busiest tracks in Washington for amateur drifting and lapping days. It was an affordable location where enthusiasts could spend time with their friends and safely enjoy their cars. Recently, operations have been restricted to four-stroke go karts by King County. The full details regarding the Conditional Use Permit can be read here.

As expected, many car enthusiasts in the area are upset about the ruling. ImportMeet.com was approached to organize a meet to show support for PGP during these difficult times. Our goal for this meet is to bring out every make and model of car (import and domestic) and have a large meet at their facility. PGP has held so many great events that it’s our turn to show them that we will continue to support them.

Multi-forum meet to show support for PGP. The track will be hot and their 45mph go karts will be available to rent. $25 for 15 minute Go Kart session is the base price and competitions will be setup throughout the day. A DJ will be present and NOS Energy Drink is supplying energy drinks for the meet.

No littering/stealing

The show & shine will happen on April 21, 2012 from 12pm – 4pm at the Sehome Village Haggen. All raffle and food donations will be given to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Whatcom County. This car show is FREE to the public and you are only required to pay if you want to reserve a spot in the show.

Formula DRIFT Enters Evergreen Speedway

Evergreen Speedway is the oldest track on the circuit and was originally built as a horse-racing track. Located in Monroe, WA, Evergreen Speedway is only a short distance from Seattle.

The Pacific Northwest fans are some of the most die-hard drift fans in the nation. The energy and excitement is often compared to that of Irwindale and the original “House of Drift.” The event’s headline moniker, “Throwdown,” lives up to its name as drivers push their vehicles to the limits of the track’s banking and tight transitions through the course resulting in one of the most exciting action-packed events of the season.

The Largest Fitted \ Stanced Event in the PNW

An event in which premium car owners and wheel fitment nut jobs meet and showcase there incredible crafted vehicles in Seattle area. One Hundred pre-approved cars will be selected to be inside the event
next to the hottest vendors and sponsors.

This event will be located at Bellevue College just 15mins from downtown Seattle just off I-90. The event atop the parking structure over looking Seattle with the sunset in the background. VIP parking will be located a lower floors and club parking as well. remining parking will be on lowest floors and surronding parking lots.

Sat Night July 7th 6pm till 11pm
$10 to spectate
$5 for parking

VIP Party (TBD) $15 includes open bar)
11pm till 2am ( VIP Package $25)

All entries will go through a light screening process to ensure that we provide a quality event for the community! Your entry will be put into a class the day you enter. Please do not get discouraged by this as we appreciate anything that has character! The goal behind this is to diversify our ever growing show and allow our supporters \visitors alike to enjoy an event and would be one of the best in Seattle.

Show cars\trucks will be provided with 20ftx20ft spaces to display their cars . Displays are strongly encouraged for maxim consideration . This will be a dark event lighting will be important. Car clubs can be accommodated in continuous spaces.

2012 RACE POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP: The Import Face-Off Race Points Championship is for Heads Up class racers only. Racers will receive 10 points for every elimination round won at each 2012 event. Champions will be chosen for Top 8/16 qualifier classes (FWD/FIP/FIS) and for Top 4/8 qualifier classes (AMP/AMS/OL) for 5 different colored regions (see map). In the event of a points tie, winners will be determined by most events attended. If points are still tied after amount of points and events attended, winners will be determined by furthest total distance traveled for the season. All race points winners will receive trophy plus free race and crew entry (limit 3) to all 2013 IFO events. All champions will also have their picture (car, driver, and crew) featured on a full page mention in the March, 2013 issue of Performance Auto and Sound magazine. Overall points winner will receive a $2000 Lightning Motorsports certificate.

2012 CAR SHOW POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP: Car show contestants will receive 10 points for each class trophy won or 50 points for each Best of Show win at all 2012 events. Champions will be chosen for 5 different colored regions (see map). The top 10 competitors with the most points for each region (50 total) will have their name and picture (car and drive) featured on a 2 page mention in the March, 2013 issue of Import Tuner magazine.

2012 CAR CLUB POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP: Car clubs will receive 10 points for competing, 20 points for winning Best Club Participation, or 30 points for Best Club Representation at all 2012 IFO events. Champions will be chosen for 5 different colored regions (see map). Each regional Champion must compete at a minimum of 3 events throughout the year. Overall and regional points Champion will have their picture and club feature in the March, 2013 issue of Super Street magazine.
